What will I experience on my PADI Open Water Course?

Taking your PADI Open Water Course is a life changing experience. Once you are a certified diver, it will lead to amazing experiences, new travel plans, new friends and some awesome memories that you will cherish forever. But the best part? You get all of this during your course too.

You do not need any previous experience to take the course. The whole idea is that this is a beginner course. It is designed to introduce you to the theory of diving safely and then you will put it into practice in the pool and then in the sea. Your instructor at Anti Gravity Divers PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort Koh Lanta will help you with this and there is a manual and video sessions to make it even easier.

You will practice everything in the shallow water of our swimming pool under the guidance of your instructor so you have plenty of time to adapt to your new surroundings and get used to using the equipment and breathing underwater. When you are comfortable with this, it is time for diving in the sea. There are no words to describe the feeling of being weightless underwater and flying for the first time while surrounded by the many unique creatures that inhabit our seas.

Once you have completed all the pool sessions and your first dive in the sea, it is time for your reward. On the last day of your course you will take a trip on our boat and experience some of the best diving Thailand has to offer. We make daily trips to Koh Ha or Koh Bida, which offer you the chance to see some of the most amazing underwater creatures. Experienced divers and photographers come to Thailand to visit these very same dive sites as they know how rich these sites are in marine life.

As part of your PADI Open Water Course at Anti Gravity Divers PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort Koh Lanta you get to see the same things that they do, experience the same environment and enjoy the same feeling that certified divers keep coming back for. Throughout the dives your instructor is there to guide you and help you to apply all the techniques that you have learned during your training. You just need to take that first step. But be warned...diving is addictive!

Just remember that most people who take the PADI Open Water Course have no previous experience. You will learn all the skills you need to be a competent diver during your course. It will change your life, your attitude and you will find your facebook page will slowly start to fill up with incredible photos that document your experiences underwater.
